新ドメインはSEOに有利か？

ドメインSEOとして新ドメインは効果があるか？との問いに関しては「効果は0ではないが、微々たるもの」ではないかと。個人的には、そこまで考慮しなくても良いレベルだと推測しています。

現在運用しているサイトのドメインを変更してまで考慮するほどのSEO効果は無く、新規でサイトを作る際の新規ドメインの候補として検討するくらいで良いのではないでしょうか。

なので、SEO目的よりも、ブランディングとして考慮する方が良いでしょう。

また、 restaurant　など日本人に馴染みの薄い、長いスペルのドメインは覚え辛いので、控えた方が良いかもしれません。
